Challenge Details:

Despite being an integral part of every person’s life, laundry is a space that has experienced minimal disruption. Recently, smart washing machines have been on the rise to simplify the process, but despite being a top-3 hated household chore, consumers are reluctant to move away from their tried-and-true methods. The opportunity in the laundry space is significant: over 85% of households contain a washing machine, and over 97% use one either at home or at a separate facility. Further, the total US Laundry market is over $15 billion and growing, of which machines account for >40%.
